Imagination Circus Arts Camp

Imagination Circus Arts will open its 5th Camp season this summer at the Boulder Circus Center!  Participants ages 8 - 16 of all different skill levels can learn to get their feet off the ground with trapeze and other classic aerial equipment, as well as acro-stunting, ride circus bike, juggle, and much more!  Along with all the skills of the circus ring, kids will also learn to perform through theatre games and performance exercises that progress each day; teaching movement, stage balance, stage presence, and expression. The week finishes up with a performance by the participants on the last day of the session for an audience of all the friends and family members who come to see  them.

Each session is five days, Monday through Friday. In the first day, participants explore and experience different circus arts, trying each of them and seeing which ones they like the most.  In the next two days, they choose a major act and begin to develop skills, as they create an act to perform on the last day of the session. At the end of each day, they all sit down to watch live demonstrations of acts by professional circus performers and have a chance to ask them questions about their work.
